3 Chelsea loanees who can walk into Blues starting XI right now

Chelsea have a host of players out on loan. Our last count puts the number at 23.

However, based on the need of the squad right now, only a few of those players can make it into our starting XI now.

Connor Gallagher

Chelsea will most likely recall Connor Gallagher from his spell at Crystal Palace at the end of the season.

The Englishman has scored 8 goals and 5 assists for Palace this term. No other Chelsea midfielder bar Mason Mount has performed better.

Rather than keep Saul on payroll, Connor can come in and perform wonders at Chelsea next season.

Emerson Palmieri

If Marcos Alonso can start games for Chelsea, then there’s no reason why Emerson can’t.

After Chilwell’s injury, the Blues tried to recall the Italian from his loan spell at Lyon but failed.

Next season would be a good opportunity to allow Emerson compete for that left-back position.

Armando Broja

Broja has been playing really well at Southampton, scoring goals and making things happen.

He’s scored 9 goals this season for the Saints and there’s no reason why he can’t do that, and even more for Chelsea.

For me, I’d rather have a hungry Broja in my team than a disinterested Lukaku. You can ask Harry Maguire.
