Antonio Conte reveals Man United player he will sign in January

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is reportedly planning to sign Manchester United defender Eric Bailly in the coming January transfer window.

Eric Bailly is not getting enough game time at Manchester United this season. The defender has played only 45 minutes in the Premier League, moving closer to the exit door at Old Trafford.

Sports Journalist Duncan Castles, reports that Tottenham are eyeing a move for Bailly. Spurs boss Antonio Conte is reportedly a big fan of the Ivorian, holding talks with the club over a move.

Bailly joined Manchester United five years ago and has only made 109 appearances for the Red Devils. This is partly due to defender’s struggle with several injuries.

Bailly was already down in the pecking order when Raphael Varane arrived in the summer. However, Varane’s presence eliminated the 27-year-old’s hopes of becoming a starter at Man United. Varane, Harry Maguire, and Victor Lindelof are all ahead of Bailly in the team’s pecking order.
