Mason Mount has been Chelsea’s best passer of the ball in the Premier League, stats have revealed.

The Englishman 8 assists, completes 85.3% of his passes and makes an average of 1.6 key passes per game.

Chelsea’s top 5 best creators in the league:

1. Mount – 8 assists, 1.6 key passes per game, 0.4 long balls per game

2. Reece James – 6 assists, 1.7 key passes per game, 1.5 long balls per game.

3. Mateo Kovacic – 5 assists, one key pass per game, 2.3 long balls per game.

4. N’Golo Kante – 4 assists, 0.9 key passes per game, 1.3 long balls per game.

5. Marcos Alonso – 3 assists, 1.4 key passes per game, 1.5 long balls per game.

Jorginho is only 9th on the league with 2 assists so far. Not particularly the best season for the Italian.

UEFA names 3 Chelsea players in Champions League all-star XI [Full list]

UEFA, on Thursday, included Real Madrid’s Luka Modric, Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger and Manchester City’s Kyle Walker in the Champions League team all-star XI of this week.

UEFA released the Champions League team in a post on its website on Thursday following the conclusion of the quarter-final second leg fixtures.

Modric, Rudiger and Walker were impressive for their respective clubs during the last-8 second leg ties.
