Fred speaks on Man Utd stars not happy under Rangnick amid club crisis

Manchester United midfielder, Fred has openly dismissed reports that a host of players, including himself, are not happy at Old Trafford under their interim manager, Ralf Rangnick, and wants to leave the club.

According to previous reports earlier this week, there were claims of 17 Manchester United players not happy at the club and as many as 11 players are actively looking to leave Old Trafford.

The reports emerged following Man United’s 1-0 Premier League defeat to Wolves at Old Trafford on January 3.

Reacting to the development ahead of Man United’s FA Cup third-round tie with Aston Villa on Monday, But Fred described the report as fake news, adding that he is very happy at the club.

Taking to Twitter, the Brazilian wrote on Friday: “Over the past few days I have read several fake news involving my name and other MUFC athletes.

“I’m not in the habit of answering controversial stuff publicly, but this time I will have to.

“I just want to say that I am very happy here and I have never expressed any dissatisfaction and the possibility of leaving the club.

“Don’t get misled by fake news. We will continue to work with great dedication to pursue our goals.”
