Speaking on Sky Sports, Jamie Redknapp said: “I think Manchester United are the favourites [to finish in the top 4], I do.
“I think Arsenal seem to be running out of steam. Poor result in midweek [against Liverpool in the EFL Cup], poor result against Burnley.
“But Tottenham with those games in hand as well, if they can get a couple of players in then they’re going to be in the mix.
“But Man United with their squad should finish in the top four. If they don’t then that’s another poor season for them.”
Man United’s top-4 hopes received a major boost last week with the Red Devils beating West Ham while Tottenham lost 2–0 to Chelsea and Arsenal played out a goalless draw against Burnley at home.
The Red Devils are currently sitting in fourth place in the Premier League table although the Gunners are just two points behind with a game in hand. Up next for Ralf Rangnick’s men is Burnley away on February 8.
