Man United announce the induction of club legend Wayne Rooney into Premier League hall of fame

Wayne Rooney has become the latest player to be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.

The former Man United captain joins the likes of David Beckham, Eric Cantona, and Roy Keane in the illustrious group.

Rooney became the Red Devils’ highest-ever goal-scorer during his stint with the club, scoring 253 career goals for the club.

He won 5 Premier League titles and scored 183 goals in the league in 393 appearances for the club.

Alongside Rooney, Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira has also become the latest member of the PL Hall of Fame.
