Manchester United are ready to make a summer bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
BILD says United have emerged as the surprise favourite to snap Kane up this summer.
It comes as local rivals Manchester City divert their attention towards Erling Haaland, with the Borussia Dortmund star looking set to leave in the transfer window.
The Etihad outfit are no longer in the running for Kane after having four bids for the forward rejected in 2021.
The Premier League champions have made Haaland the priority, thus seeing the former RB Salzburg star prioritised over the Tottenham star – who was the subject of intense transfer speculation last summer.
The England captain told Spurs that he wanted to leave in order to fulfil his dream of winning some silverware.
However, club chairman Daniel Levy blocked all bids despite the striker insisting he had a gentleman’s agreement to depart.
And while City may have missed out, Kane is still at the centre of a transfer battle with United set to test their resolve this summer.
