Even when it is apparent that a couple of players are not close to using the exit door at Stamford Bridge, there are still a number of rumours about some players who are likely to exit the West London club in the winter window transfer.
Basically, on the rumours about Ziyech and Pulisic leaving the Blues and CuprformyCosta on Reddit has given his take on why it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.
“I’m fine with letting Pulisic and Ziyech go. Werner as well, if we can find a suitable buyer. Most of these guys have underperformed to varying levels vs high expectations when we signed them.
“Next step is bringing in quality replacements. Not sure how City or Liverpool go about identifying and scouting players, but we could use a few tips. Mane/Salah/Jota we’re excellent additions for Liverpool.
“Excellent players that took that next step up when they joined, and they also fit their playing style and philosophy perfectly. Same with City although they’ve got unlimited resources.
“Would kill to have players like Silva, KdB, Cancelo, Dias, Gundogan, Mahrez. They pay out the ass for their players but they’re almost always amazing players.”
Chelsea’s squad players have failed to step up when it counts for the Blues but letting go of these high investment players might not be the best idea.
