‘Paul Pogba might be in the starting XI’: Ralf Rangnick gives team news ahead of Middlesbrough clash

Speaking to the media on Thursday, Ralf Rangnick said: “Paul Pogba will be part of the group. He might even be in the starting eleven.

“Eric Bailly came back yesterday, he has some problems with his ankle and will not be part of the squad.

“Luke Shaw will be playing because Alex Telles played 90 minutes for Brazil. Edinson Cavani will only return at the weekend.

“Victor Lindelof has been ill the whole week and not training, the same is true with Jesse Lingard. He will be back in training on Monday.”

Manchester United return to action on Friday with an FA Cup fourth round clash against Championship side Middlesbrough at Old Trafford.

Up next for the Red Devils is a trip to Burnley in the Premier League on Tuesday, February 8 as Rangnick’s men look to keep up in the top-4 race.
