Lingard will get a chance but Van de Beek and Henderson will Start – Rangnick gives team update ahead of Young Boys clash

Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick has opened up on giving Jesse Lingard a chance to prove his worth.

Lingard is off contract in June and wanted back by West Ham next month.

Ahead of their Champions League clash with Young Boys, Rangnick said: “Everybody has the chance to perform and present themselves. I am happy to give game time to quite a few of them tomorrow.

“Perfect opportunity to get to know the players.”

Donny van de Beek and Dean Henderson are due to start.

He added: “Well to start with they will both play tomorrow, in the first XI.

“Donny came on as a sub last Sunday. Dean is a very ambitious ‘keeper, we need two.”
