Although Manchester United’s press officer banned all Mason Greenwood questions at Thursday’s press conference, Ralf Rangnick still touched on the subject.
The German manager said: “Obviously it was a topic within the team but they’re human beings and Mason Greenwood was part of the group before we had our break.
“It was a good week of training, we could train under normal circumstances and we are looking forward to the game tomorrow.”
Greenwood was arrested on Sunday on charges of rape and assault after his girlfriend Harriet Robson shared damning evidence of his actions on Instagram.
The was released on bail earlier this week and Man United players are said to be ‘shocked and appalled’ by the leaked photos and audio.
