Man United interim boss Ralf Rangnick will personally try his best to convince Erling Haaland to join Man United next summer, as per BILD journalist Christian Falk.
United boss had played a big role in helping the Norwegian striker join RB Salzburg back in 2019.
Rangnick reportedly shares a close relationship with Haaland’s father, Alf-Inge, and could use that as an advantage to win over the striker’s trust.
In his consultancy role at United, the German gaffer will have power to make decisions on transfers and bring players to Old Trafford.
Haaland reportedly has a release clause of around €75m next summer, triggering which can help any club sign him from Borussia Dortmund.
But, the Norwegian striker’s rumored demands to be the highest-paid player in the world and agent Mino Raiola could be stumbling blocks over a potential move.
