Real Madrid chiefs intensify bid for Rudiger ahead of 2022 winter window

Spanish giants, Real Madrid are head bent on luring Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger from the English side to Los Blancos.

According to reports, Madrid Chiefs have proposed to make Rudiger their top Bosman target ahead of the January winter transfer window. The German defender is yet to sign a contract extension with the West London club and will be off contract in June 2022.

Media outlet Spox says, Real officials are convinced the Germany international will be moving to Spain next year.

Real intermediaries have been informed talks between Rudiger and Chelsea have collapsed, with the defender demanding €12m-a-year to re-sign, while Chelsea are refusing to go higher than €8.5m-a-year.
