Chelsea veteran defender, Thiago Silva has replied Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes for that Cristiano Ronaldo would have had more chances against him(Silva) had the Portuguese started their Premier League tie on Sunday.
Man United caretaker boss, Michael Carrick had surprisingly used Ronaldo as a substituting during their 1-1 draw against Chelsea.
And Scholes, while running a commentary on Sky Sports, criticised Carrick’s decision to start Ronaldo on the bench and felt that the former Real Madrid star would have thrived against Thiago Silva.
The former England international also claimed that Manchester United have ‘more talent’ than Chelsea.
However, Thiago Silva has hit back at Scholes’ claims on Instagram.
In his response to a Chelsea fan’s account that generalized Scholes’ view of Ronaldo and Thiago Silva, the Brazilian defender wrote: ‘It is always easy, especially for those who have stopped playing!’
