Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel, has released his side’s squad to face Lille in the Champions League round of 16 second-leg tie in France on Wednesday.
Tuchel named a 22-man squad to tackle Lille in a post via the club’s website on Tuesday.
Chelsea head to the game after beating Newcastle United 1-0 in the Premier League last weekend.
Tuchel’s men had defeated Lille 2-0 in the first-leg at Stamford Bridge.
Below is Chelsea’s squad against Lille:
Goalkeepers: Mendy, Kepa, Bettinelli
Defenders: Rudiger, Alonso, Christensen, Silva, Chalobah, Kenedy, Azpilicueta, Sarr
Midfielders: Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic, Loftus-Cheek, Vale
Forwards: Mount, Havertz, Lukaku, Pulisic, Werner, Ziyech.
The kick-off time for the match is 20:00 GMT.
Chance to Vale? Pick Chelsea’s XI for Lille clash!
The Blues need to protect their 2-0 lead and make sure they progress to the quarter-finals.
Harvey Vale and Cesar Azpilicueta are back in the squad while Saul and Barkley are absent.
Reece James, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ben Chilwell are injured.
Option 1: Best possible team
The Blues should not underestimate Lille. They have to put the most in-form players to make sure they advance to the quarter-finals.
Mount gets dropped to the bench after several unremarkable performances while Pulisic gets the nod.
Chalobah is benched after nearly conceding two penalties in two previous games.
Alonso, back from Covid, returns to the starting XI and so does Azpilicueta.
Option 1 starting XI: Mendy; Christensen, Thiago Silva, Rudiger; Azpilicueta, Kovacic, Kante, Alonso; Ziyech, Havertz, Pulisic
Option 2: Rotation
Lille showed they are a weaker side than Chelsea as they barely threatened Mendy in the first leg.
So Chelsea should give a chance to some of their back-up players who need game time.
Kepa, Loftus-Cheek, Jorginho and Vale all start.
Mount, Lukaku and Werner get a nod so they can turn their poor form around.
Option 2 starting XI: Kepa; Christensen, Thiago Silva, Rudiger; Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Loftus-Cheek, Mount, Vale; Lukaku, Werner.
